This 1-1/2" Foot Pad by Cowboy Canopy is made of rust resistant galvanized steel. All welds are finely crafted, including the eye bolts which have 360 degree solid welds around the nut (no tack welds). The body of the Foot Pad is a strong 15-gauge thickness. The Foot Pad base plate is made of heavy-duty 12-gauge galvanized steel. 1-1/2" Foot Pads fit 1-1/4" EMT Conduit poles. EMT Conduit (Electrical Metallic Tubing) is sold in 10' poles at any major hardware store. Foot Pads serve as canopy pole holders to make stable bases for canopies built with 1-1/4" EMT conduit poles. To use, slide your canopy pole into the Foot Pad and tighten the eye bolt. Eye bolt connections on each Foot Pad are user-friendly and convenient. No drills, screwdrivers, or advanced skills in construction needed.
