After an upgrade, the model number changed from AQU-8017 to AQU-WF17. This under-sink replacement filter is made with BPA-free, lead-free materials and is certified by IAPMO to NSF/ANSI 372 (lead-free materials) and NSF/ANSI 42 (chlorine, taste, and odor reduction). It uses a natural coconut-shell activated carbon block (check for coconut allergies). Suggested replacement is every 6 months or 19,000 gallons, whichever comes first, depending on local water conditions. It is designed as a replacement for a wide range of compatible systems and cartridges (including the listed H-104/PBS400/4C/OW series and related EV/EF part numbers). For use with cold water supply only, and it does not reduce TDS.
